First time to Mount Rainier

I’ve been in Seattle nearly 9 years now and never once was inclined to go to Mount Rainier – The mountain / volcano (dormant) does look nice from a distance, but I’ve long suspected that it wasn’t going to be quite that impressive close up.

Another brownie oddity…

Last night was a bit off the beaten track. Got a ping from Monika towards the evening for dinner – “Know any good salad place?” was the question. Me and salad? I don’t really fancy lettuce, so I simply pulled up City Search and IMed her the results. “I don’t want to go to Seattle. Let’s go to Baja Fresh in Overlake.” I didn’t recall having been there before; it’s a Mexican fast-food-ish joint. Not too bad, but there was a bit of confusion over my order; someone else wound up grabbing it since it was incorrectly marked as to-go.
